In the first week of September four UK festivals are vying for concert goers attention.
They are part of a burgeoning trend that saw 450 festivals take place in the UK this year. The average age of adults going to Glastonbury was 36. Gig goers spent $1billion on tickets and half that again on food drink and the like. Festivals are now the bedrock of the ailing UK music business.
Meanwhile a new US study reports a staggering one in five millennials (birth years ranging from the early 1980s to the early 2000s) attended a music festival such as Burning Man (pictured) in the past year.
