After comparing a Barbie’s measurements with those of an average American 19-year-old woman, artist Nickolay Lamm of MyDeals.com decided to take two months to create a real-life rendering of the Barbie doll.

The difference is jarring.

An average 19-year-old female’s height is 64.29″. A barbie is almost five inches taller.

An average woman’s waist is 33.62″, Barbie’s is only 18″.

Lamm was careful to make the new doll’s measurements as accurate as possible.
