How big is Apple right now?

Big. Just look at this chart.

Apple generates almost as much revenue as AmazonMicrosoftGoogle, and Facebook combined. Apple was at $39.2 billion, the other guys combined are at $40.4 billion.

Profit growth? Apple’s profits were up 94% in the last quarter. Google’s were up 60%.

Everyone else was down on a year on a year over year basis.

And, Apple’s profits of $11.6 billion are bigger than everyone else’s profits combined, which came in at $8.33 billion.

That big.

This chart proves that for Apple, it’s all about the iphone

Everyone says the money is in mobile media – and it seems they are right.

The iPhone accounted for 58% of Apple’s total revenue last quarter.

The iPhone didn’t exist five years ago.

Today, the iPhone business alone is more profitable than Exxon.

In the chart, you can see how the iPhone has gone from zero to a hundred billion annually in the span of five years.
